Effective Date: February 20, 2026
At AdHole Project, we believe privacy is a fundamental right. Unlike traditional ISPs or “free” DNS providers, we don’t profit from your browsing habits. Our business model is simple: you pay for a service, and we protect your data. We are Artemidus, business for computer services, located in Croatia.
1. Data We Never Collect
To be as clear as possible: We do not collect, store, or sell:
- Your IP address (beyond the initial connection handshake).
- The specific websites you visit (DNS queries).
- Your physical location.
- Information about the apps you use on your devices.
2. Information We Do Collect
We only collect the bare minimum required to run the service and manage your subscription:
- Account Information: Your email address and billing details (processed securely via Stripe).
- Aggregate Statistics: Total number of queries blocked across our entire network (e.g., “We blocked 1 million trackers today”). This data is anonymized and cannot be traced back to any individual user.
- Optional Troubleshooting Logs: If you contact support, we may ask for your permission to view temporary logs to identify why a specific site isn’t loading. These are deleted immediately after the ticket is closed.
3. How DNS Queries are Handled
When your device asks our server for the location of google.com, the following happens:
- The Request: Your query arrives at our server.
- The Filter: Our engine checks the domain against our blocklists.
- The Result: If it’s an ad or tracker, we return a “null” IP. If it’s safe, we provide the correct IP.
4. Security Measures
We use industry-leading protocols to ensure your ISP or hackers can’t “sniff” your DNS traffic:
- Wireguard: Provides a dedicated encrypted tunnel for your DNS requests.
5. Third-Party Disclosure
We do not share your data with third parties unless required by a valid, narrow legal order from a court of competent jurisdiction. Because we do not store browsing logs, we generally have no data to provide regarding your internet activity even if requested.
6. Your Rights (GDPR/CCPA/EU AI Act)
Regardless of where you live, you have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you (essentially just your email and billing history).
- Request the deletion of your account.
- Opt-out of any non-essential communications.
7. Data retention policy
Any data you provide us will be deleted immediately and fully on your request.
- Inactive account will be retained for 1 year.
- Pending orders will be retained for 1 day.
