Getting Started with AdHole

Setting up AdHole is straightforward. Follow these steps to enjoy secure browsing without ads.

Setup Steps

1. Sign up for an account and choose your subscription plan
2. Wait for mail with configuration file
3. Install Wireguard from app store
   • Google Play store
   • App Store
   • Wireguard website
4. Import provided configuration into Wireguard and enable it
5. Enjoy ad free experience 🙂

Note for Apple ecosystem

Note for iOS users, there could be a problem when using Safari, as it has some built-in measures that override DNS servers provided by PiHole. 

Key Fixes for Safari & Pi-hole

• Disable iCloud Private Relay (macOS/iOS): This is the most common cause. Turn it off in System Settings > [Your Name] > iCloud > Private Relay or Settings > iCloud > Private Relay.
• Disable “Limit IP Address Tracking”: Go to System Settings > Network > Wi-Fi > Details > Disable “Limit IP address tracking”.
• Adjust Safari Privacy Settings: In Safari, go to Settings > Privacy and uncheck “Allow privacy-preserving measurement of ad effectiveness” and “Hide IP address from trackers”.
